The Toronto Raptors must’ve hired and revamped their security. At least, that's what you'd think after an incident they had with DeMar DeRozan that’s almost unbelievable.

DeRozan had a scheduled interview with Doris Burke of ESPN on Sunday afternoon. When he arrived at Air Canada Centre, security didn’t know if he was a regular employee or just someone trying to sneak in the building. Sounds like a prank doesn’t it? It wasn't, but DeRozan was eventually let into the arena.

Once Derozan stood on the floor with teammate Kyle Lowry, security called for backup because they still were not sure he was who he was claiming to be.

Thankfully, when the extra security guards were called in, they recognized DeRozan and Lowry.

A day after scoring 32 points in a win over the Cavaliers, and the Raptors first ever conference finals win at Air Canada Centre, DeRozan was almost kicked out of his own arena. Go figure.

It looks like not all of the security guards are fans of NBA basketball.
