The already-dominant Baltimore Ravens squad is looking to add more weapons in their arsenal after recently signing wide receiver Dez Bryant to their practice squad, as per Ian Rapoport.

The three-time Pro Bowler last played an NFL game during the 2017 season with the Dallas Cowboys. He played in all 16 games during that year and recorded 69 receptions for 838 yards and six touchdowns as the Cowboys finished with a 9-7 record and missed the playoffs.

After eight seasons with the team, America's Team decided to part ways with the veteran and was released in April of 2018. He attempted to make a comeback by signing a one-year, $1.25 million deal with the New Orleans Saints, nine weeks into the 2018 NFL season.

Just two days after agreeing on a contract, Dez Bryant tore his achilles tendon during a team practice. His injury was confirmed with an MRI scan and was eventually placed on injured reserve, thus ending his short tenure in New Orleans without a game played.

In October of 2019, Bryant has made his comeback plans known to the public, but did not proceed to sign with a team. He also previously participated in a tryout with the Ravens prior to the start of the 2020 NFL season but no deal ever came to fruition.

With the recent acquisition, it is expected that the former Oklahoma State standout will join the Ravens' roster at some point in the latter stages of the season. The Lamar Jackson-led team will look to go all in on their Super Bowl aspirations this season with an experienced veteran in Bryant now on their corner.
