The Baltimore Ravens were able to make a blockbuster trade to acquire Calais Campbell from the Jacksonville Jaguars, and it appears they've reached terms on a new extension. Not even two hours after his reported traded to the Ravens, Campbell has agreed to a two-year, $27 million deal with Baltimore:

Of the $27 million in total money, Campbell is going to receive $20 million in guaranteed money. Even though Rapoport says the deal isn't finalized yet, it's expected to be completed in the near future.

The Ravens traded a fifth-round pick for Campbell. Upon landing in Baltimore, he's expected to be signed through the 2022 season.

Over the past three seasons, Campbell was a fixture on Jacksonville's defensive line. Altogether, the veteran defensive end compiled a total of 31.5 sacks and six forced fumbles in those three years.

However, in 2019, Campbell had his least productive year in terms of sacks since 2015. Nevertheless, he has been named to the Pro Bowl three years in a row and was an All-Pro in 2017.

Just a couple of days ago, the Ravens placed their franchise tag on Matt Judon. Judon was slated to become an unrestricted free agent if Baltimore hadn't placed the tag on him. After signing Campbell, the Ravens can now turn their attention to possibly getting a long-term deal resolved with Judon, or perhaps they wind up trading him if things don't work out.

But with Campbell signing an extension, Baltimore could create a formidable edge-rushing duo for the foreseeable future. There's no doubt that teams in the AFC North will want to bolster their offensive lines this offseason.
