After an offseason that saw several team reload during the offseason, the Baltimore Ravens are still tagged as a heavily-favored contender heading into the 2020 NFL season. The team will mainly look to replicate and eventually exceed their 14-2 regular-season record in 2019 which is possible due to the return of 2019 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and a majority of his supporting cast.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh responded to a question asking what he’s doing to get his guys to forget about the 2019 season and to focus on 2020.

“It’s the opposite,” he said. “They think about 14-2 all the time. They want to build on it.”

The Ravens' impressive record helped them notch the 2019 AFC North division crown for the second-straight season. Despite the successful campaign, the Baltimore-based squad failed to turn on the jets as they entered the postseason proceedings as the top-seeded team.

They were stopped on their tracks by the Tennessee Titans who pulled off the upset rug and ran away with a 28-12 win on the Ravens' home turf during the AFC Semi-Final game. Their failed postseason run abruptly ended the historic season that Lamar Jackson and the rest of the Ravens were having back then.

The team is looking to start the season on the right foot as they aim to have a deeper playoff campaign this time around. They successfully overcame their first test as they dismantled division rival Cleveland Browns with a 38-6 beating in their Week 1 matchup.

With a fresh chapter on the horizon, Harbaugh and the rest of the Ravens are looking to meet high expectations and settle their unfinished business on the gridiron this season.
