All things considered, 2020 has been quite a year for Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson. He was awarded the unanimous MVP, made it to the cover of Madden NFL 2021 and, just recently, was voted by his fellow athletes as the best player in the NFL Top 100 list.

But if you ask the Jackson, the two early playoff exits in his young NFL career has been looming over his head.

“I think about it a lot, to be honest with you,” the Ravens star said in Peter King's Football Morning in America column on NBC Sports. “That's where I wanna be. That's when everything gets…crucial. It's tough. I remember LeGarrette Blount DM'd me on Instagram. He was like, ‘you know, playoffs is different from regular season.' I'm like, nah. But it is, because it's win or go home. And I'm tired of going home. I just can't wait to get back in that same spot and perform at a whole ‘nother level.”

Lamar Jackson has had quite a stellar individual career in just two years in the league. In his rookie year, Jackson led Baltimore to the playoffs only to be booted out by the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card round.

He would come back stronger the following year as Baltimore's main signal-caller, leading all quarterbacks in the league with 36 touchdown passes. Jackson's MVP season ended early though, as the Ravens lost in the Divisional round of the playoffs against the Tennessee Titans.

The reigning MVP is looking to outdo himself once again this coming 2020 campaign as he vies for another playoff run with the Ravens. However, it certainly won't be easy for him and Baltimore, especially with the uncertainty brought by the coronavirus pandemic and the mass exodus of players opting out for the season.
