As trade rumors continue pouring into the NFL offseason, the latest has included Odell Beckham Jr.

Former Indianapolis Colts receiver Reggie Wayne said on NFL Network Tuesday that OBJ should play for the Baltimore Ravens. Wayne drew up a trade scenario that could possibly work for both the Ravens and the New York Giants.

Despite many football analysts being submerged in the most hypothetical times of the year for trades and speculation, Wayne's rationale looks quite fetching on paper.

He suggests the Ravens could parlay linebacker C.J. Mosley and a 2019 third and fifth-round draft pick in order to bring Beckham in as quarterback Lamar Jackson's top receiving target.

Though Wayne's heart is in the right place at this point of the year, the six-time Pro Bowler may be slightly in over his head with this deal.

Beckham is still only 26 years old, and one of the most durable and staggering covers for any of the league's cornerbacks. New York signed him to a five-year, $95 million extension back in August. Right now at least, it's clear that the team doesn't hold any desire to move him, even if it's for the most extravagant of offers.

Giants general manager Dave Gettleman told reporters in January that the organization has no plans to even hear any trade offers for the star receiver.

“We didn’t sign him to trade him, if that’s what you’re asking, Gettleman said.”

Odell Beckham Jr. finished the 2018-19 campaign with 77 receptions, 1,052 yards, and six touchdowns in just a dozen games played.
