The anticipatory news involving the Washington Redskins has finally dropped and it's even worse then some media members implied. According to a piece by the Washington Post, there are 15 female employees that were allegedly sexually harassed by people within the franchise, some of which who were close to owner Dan Snyder.

Within the article, the Post reported that “they cried about the realization their dream job of working in the NFL came with what they characterized as relentless sexual harassment and verbal abuse that was ignored — and in some cases, condoned — by top team executives.” Altogether, there were 15 women that bravely shared their unpleasant experiences with the franchise.

Also, the story cites that Larry Michael — the Redskins' radio announcer — is one of the employees accused of sexual harassment. Besides Michael, director of pro personnel Alex Santos and director of pro personnel Richard Mann II were accused as well.

All three of them have either been fired or have resigned recently. Just earlier this week, Michael announced that he would be leaving the team.

While Snyder wasn't accused of sexual harassment, he was mentioned as someone that created a toxic workplace environment. The longtime owner of the Washington franchise also refused to conduct an interview on the report. As a result, many people are going to be calling for him to sell the team. Whether he actually sells the team is a topic for another day.

The entirety of the allegations spans from 2006-2019 — a decent portion of Snyder's tenure with the team. Regardless of how involved he was with the unfortunate allegations, Snyder is going to have a lot of answering to do in the near future.
