Clint Capela is now a member of the Atlanta Hawks, as his five and a half year run with the Houston Rockets ended on Wednesday when Houston traded him to Atlanta.

Capela took to Instagram on Thursday evening to reflect on his time with the Rockets:

Capela finished his Rockets career with averages of 12.2 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.5 blocks in 334 games. He was the 25th overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.

The Rockets signed Capela to a five-year, $90 million contract in the summer of 2018. He's making $14.2 million this season.

On the Hawks, Capela figures to flourish with All-Star point guard Trae Young. Despite being in just his second year in the NBA, Young has already established himself as one of the best passers in the league.

Capela will have an adjustment period mentally now that he's with the Hawks. Atlanta has one of the worst records in the NBA, while the Rockets are one of the best teams in the West and have championship aspirations with MVPs James Harden and Russell Westbrook leading the charge.
