The Houston Rockets organization is in quite a state following a number of developments in Wednesday. Russell Westbrook demanded a trade, citing a fear for the team's culture and a desire to run a true point once again.

James Harden is reportedly set in his ways and already ready to go for next year. But the drama was not yet finished.

Rockets forward P.J. Tucker is infuriated with his current salary and is essentially demanding a raise from the team.

The veteran and renowned sneaker head appeared to throw some shade at the team last night on Instagram. Tucker posted a story of a “cap” emoji before seemingly calling out the team's lack of transparency with respect to his contract situation.

It might not be a stretch to say these are dire times for the Rockets.

Houston is in the first year of a big transition. Mike D'Antoni stepped down as head coach, while longtime general manager Daryl Morey also stepped away, only to join the Philadelphia 76ers as team president.

D'Antoni and Morey were replaced by former Dallas Mavericks assistant Stephen Silas and Rafael Stone, respectively. Silas and Stone might have preferred a little more stability entering their positions. Obviously, that is far from the case.

There is no guaranteeing the Rockets would have retained Westbrook this offseason, anyway. But Tucker is an invaluable rotation player who supplies toughness, defense and shooting as an undersized four-man.

Tucker will be on an expiring contract this year, and it remains to be seen whether Houston will extend him and raise his salary or ride things out.
