Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder came up short of the win on Wednesday night, losing 112-102 to the Toronto Raptors — but not as short as Cory Joseph came up from a drive-in layup, as Westbrook spiked the shot ruthlessly out of bounds in the fourth quarter.

While Westbrook could have easily kept the ball in play, there's no denying it's those emphatic blocks that truly send a message into the opponent's mind.

The Long Beach native had yet again another monster game with 36 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
