Kendre Miller was drafted 71st overall by the New Orleans Saints in the 2023 NFL Draft, and he is now preparing for his first season in the NFL. Unfortunately for Miller, he recently injured his hamstring which has made it difficult for him to get ready for the Saints opening weekend matchup against the Tennessee Titans. This is a big opportunity for the Saints to start the season strong as they are at home and they also come into the game as the favorite. Having their rookie running back would certainly help the cause, and despite not practicing at all this week, there is still a chance that Miller plays.

Kendre Miller is currently listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Titans, according to a tweet from Luke Johnson. J.T. Gray and Tre’Quan Smith are the only injured Saints players with an official decision, and they are both out for Sunday. Because of the fact that Miller didn’t practice at all this week, it seems unlikely that he’ll get any significant playing time, but we still could see the young RB’s Saints debut this weekend.

Last season at TCU football, Miller had 224 carries for 1,399 yards. That’s good for 6.2 yards per carry, and he also added 17 rushing touchdowns. Miller had a spectacular season for the Horned Frogs and he is capable of doing the same thing in the NFL. Once he returns to full strength, he might end up surprising a lot of people with his ability at the running back position.
