Doug Baldwin's sore knee isn't the only injury concern for the Seattle Seahawks at the moment. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says defensive end Dion Jordan is dealing with a “stress issue” on his leg, per John Boyle of the team’s official website.

Jordan underwent knee surgery this offseason which landed him on the active PUP list. But this stress issue is on the leg opposite to the one which needed to undergo the operation.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network later clarified that the issue Carroll was referring to was a “stress reaction” in Jordan’s shin. Carroll commented that it could be a while before he returns.

“He’s going to be a while. Word is it’s going to be a while, he’s got a little bit of healing to do,” Carroll said.

Although, the Seahawks did receive some good news about Jordan, per Pelissero. He was recently was informed he is no longer in the NFL's substance-abuse program. Jordan was suspended for the entire 2015 season due to violation of the league’s substance abuse policy.

The No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, Jordan signed on with the Seahawks at the tail-end of last season. He impressed in his five games with the team as he recorded 18 tackles and four sacks, which is one sack more than he managed in the first 26 games of his career.

After the departures of Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril in the offseason, Jordan is expected to play a big part in the Seahawks’ pass rush this year. But with both him and fellow starting defensive end Frank Clark (wrist) still recovering from offseason surgery, the Seahawks will be on the look-out for more pass-rushing help.
