The Seattle Seahawks are in dire straits after losing their last three contests and falling to 3-8 on the season. With not much left to lose, the team is reportedly going all-in on the Adrian Peterson experiment.

The Seahawks had just signed the future Hall-of-Fame running back, but according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, they're going to hand him the ball early and often.

Via Rapoport:

“Adrian Peterson, just signed late this week by the Seattle Seahawks, is expected to get the bulk of the carries in Seattle. I am told that despite all the running backs there, he looked great in practice – and they are going to ride him today.”

Adrian Peterson played three games for the Tennessee Titans earlier in the year, as they looked to fill the void left after Derrick Henry fell to injury. In those games, AP averaged 27.3 yards per game and tallied a lone rushing touchdown in his first game action of the season in Week 9.

But he was eventually let go, opening the door for him to join the seventh team of his career in the Seattle Seahawks. He may be eons away from his MVP form, but maybe a late resurgence could be exactly what the Seahawks need. With how far they've tumbled down in the standings, they definitely need some late-season magic.
