Former NFL superstar Marshawn Lynch is many things. What he is not is boring.

Lynch, who helped the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl in 2013, had a rather interesting question on Twitter on Tuesday. With the entire world still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and the increasing threats of the more transmissible Omicron variant, Lynch is busy being introspective of other more pertinent stuff that would make history's greatest philosophers question their existence.

Ah, such a classic.

It remains unclear why that random guy named Tom Brady suddenly popped into Lynch's profound mind. But well, to be fair, Brady should be a daily brain wave. Is the ex-Seahawks running back trying to cajole his way into joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after they lost an equally controversial star in Antonio Brown? Probably not. But with Lynch, we never know.

To avoid any confusion, the five-time Pro Bowler swiftly issued a succinct disclaimer that would make any publicist turn green in envy.

Of course, fans couldn't help but join in on the fun. Some students of history delved into the great annals of the NFL to reference an old video of Brady loosely using the N-word on former Super Bowl champion Ed Reed.

Maybe now that he's retired, Marshawn Lynch is just preparing himself if ever the same situation arises with Brady.

But to answer his deeply befuddling question: We don't know.
