The Seattle Seahawks are calling in all of the reinforcements they can to a depleted backfield before their Sunday night matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Not only have they brought back fan-favorite running back Marshawn Lynch, but his running mate, Robert Turbin.

It's something that the Seahawks were forced into doing after injuries to their three running backs over the last two weeks. And now it's something that's brought back the two guys that are most familiar with their offense that were out of the league. And according to Pro Football Talk, this is something that Turbin is very happy to get the opportunity to do.

“It’s a great feeling. It’s like a dream come true, almost like getting drafted all over again. This is the place that I wanted to be if I had my choice. God made it happen. I’m here. I’m extremely blessed and excited for the opportunity.”

It's been a difficult wait and road back for Robert Turbin, as he hasn't played at all this season. The most he got as far as an opportunity to come back was in the offseason in a tryout for the Oakland Raiders. It didn't come for him then, but now, he has this chance in front of him with the Seahawks. And it's a big one at that.

“We picked a heck of a week to come back didn’t we? With the NFC West championship on the line for the team. I couldn’t think of a better opportunity. I mean, why not? I think this team talks about it all the time. Russell (Wilson) talks about why not us? What a great opportunity for that for us in this situation. We’ll be looking forward to it. I will be, for sure.”

Turbin and Lynch will get their chance for the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers at home.
