The Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks just worked out one of the biggest trades in NFL history, with Russell Wilson going from the Seahawks to the Broncos in this blockbuster deal. In addition to a bunch of draft picks being involved, the Seahawks also got three players back in the Wilson trade: Drew Lock, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris.

Harris, a defensive end, offered up his immediate reaction on Twitter:

Getting traded typically isn't all that fun, and it seems Harris is bummed about leaving Denver after spending the last five seasons there. Harris spent the first two seasons of his career with the Raiders after going in the seventh round of the 2014 NFL Draft, but he didn't really make a name for himself in the NFL until he joined the Broncos for the 2017 season after not playing in the 2016 season.

Harris soon became a mainstay on Denver's defensive line, playing in 16 games in four out of five seasons. He tied a career high with six sacks and 49 total tackles in 2021 for a Broncos defense that was one of the stingiest in the NFL.

The 30-year-old now joins a Seahawks squad that's in flux after trading Wilson. What comes next in Seattle? Will Pete Carroll stick around? Who will replace Wilson at quarterback? Will the Seahawks go into full rebuild mode?

These are all major questions that must be answered heading into the 2022 season. Harris is a good player who should be help the defensive line, but we'll see which direction Seattle goes in now.
