Russell Wilson keeps racking up touchdown passes. Four more scoring throws boosted Wilson's NFL-leading total to 26 touchdown passes before the midpoint of the Seattle Seahawks' season. Those passes built a 30-7 lead which the San Francisco 49ers have reduced to 30-20 in a typically wild game between these NFC West rivals.

Wilson threw a touchdown pass to Seahawks sensation D.K. Metcalf in the first quarter, a play which we covered earlier on Sunday at ClutchPoints.

Wilson kept the touchdowns coming for the Seahawks.

He hit Metcalf on a second throw to restore a lead in the second quarter for the Seahawks:

Wilson increased the Seahawks' lead with a short scoring pass to DeeJay Dallas out of the backfield:

Wilson then hit David Moore for touchdown number four, as the Seahawks gained insurance on the scoreboard, which they needed when the 49ers scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to pull closer.

The Seahawks are trying to close this game against the 49ers, which would put them three games ahead of San Francisco in the NFC West standings.

The Seahawks know that the Los Angeles Rams, who began Sunday one game out of the lead in the NFC West, were upset by the Miami Dolphins. That loss was caused by a nightmarish game from quarterback Jared Goff.

Russell Wilson can relate to what Goff went through. Wilson threw three interceptions on Oct. 25 in a Sunday Night Football loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Those three picks all came in crucial situations, and the last one in overtime turned a likely tie into a loss. Wilson needed to bounce back from that game for the Seahawks.
