The Dallas Mavericks typically have unfortunate luck when it comes to summer free agency season, especially when you consider the fallout with DeAndre Jordan two years ago. As of right now, the organization is looking to simply secure the talent they have in house, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Nerlens Noel was an emerging athletes who played for the Philidelphia 76ers prior to joining the Mavs. Back in February, getting rid of Justin Anderson and Andrew Bogut for the 6′ 11″ forward and this year's 9th overall pick was key in the Mavs strategy to build another title contending team.

It also appears the Mavs have expressed interest in Jrue Holiday as he will become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The Mavs' organization are doing everything they can to have their ducks in a row for the impeding free agency. Hopefully luck will be in their favor.
