Jimmy Butler of is confident that once he meshes with his new teammates, the Philadelphia 76ers will be a tough team to beat.

As reported by Keith Pompey of philly.com, Butler expects to develop chemistry with his new teammates sooner than later. And once it happens, they're going to be difficult to handle.

“I'm telling you, it's coming rather sooner than later,” Butler said. “We will be just fine, because, once we put this thing together, we are going to be tough.”

Butler's comments came in after their loss to the Orlando Magic in his debut. He had a decent effort with 14 points. It was apparent that Butler was still figuring out the 76ers playstyle while he was on the floor. Butler promised that he'll contribute a whole lot in their next game.

“Next game, I guarantee I'm going to know a lot more than I did this game,” he said.

The 76ers will face the Utah Jazz on Friday. They have a chance to improve on their 9-7 record — decent win-loss standing early in the season. But given their performance last year, analysts expect the 76ers to perform a whole lot better this season.

With Butler in the team, they have an impending big three in Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Time will only tell if such a deadly trio will come into fruition and wreak havoc in the Eastern Conference and the rest of the NBA.
