The Philadelphia 76ers look like one of the best teams in the league now that James Harden has joined the rotation. However, Joel Embiid remains the go-to guy for this team, as he's easily one of the best centers in the NBA. He proved that in his last performance against the New York Knicks, where Embiid hit career highs with the Sixers in this matchup.
According to Stat Muse, Joel Embiid went 23-27 from the free-throw line. It's a career-high for the superstar center as the Knicks struggled to stay out of foul trouble. The Sixers had New York in the blender, as both centers fouled out trying to guard Embiid.

What can't Joel Embiid do? He can score from anywhere and is a complete mismatch for anybody trying to guard him. With James Harden providing scoring from the perimeter, it's hard to imagine anybody slowing down the Sixers anytime soon. Embiid has played a large part in how centers play in the league, as they are much more versatile in today's NBA.
Having said that, forcing both opposing centers to foul out is insane. 12 fouls between two players is never a good thing. The Sixers were able to control the game throughout, allowing Joel Embiid to play freely.
This is an incredibly exciting time for Sixers fans as the team aims to get back into title contention. Philadelphia is currently in third place in the Eastern Conference. They have plenty of time to remain atop of the league with the playoffs quickly approaching. Look for Joel Embiid to continue dominating the NBA, especially now with James Harden as his teammate.
