Every year there seem to be a few All-Star snubs whom people believe should have made the cut, and this year, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has made it clear he believes his Sixers teammate Ben Simmons is that guy.

After Tuesday night's game against the Wizards, Embiid stated who he believes should replace Kristaps Porzingis on Team LeBron, via Peter Mitchell of The Sydney Morning Herald.

“I hope they don't do the same bullshit, the same mistake they've been doing before with the last two guys who got injured. I think he deserves it, he has been playing well the whole season, and he has been a beast lately.”

Ben Simmons has been having a great rookie year after missing all of last season for the Sixers with a Jones Fracture in his foot.

He is averaging 16.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game. He has the handles of a point guard in the body of a power forward which makes it really hard for opposing teams to match up with him.

In terms of team success, Simmons has also had some of that. He has helped lead the Sixers to a 26-25 record so far which puts them in eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

The bad news for Simmons and Embiid though is that Adam Silver has made his decision on who will replace Porzingis, and, once again, Simmons was snubbed.

According to Chris Mannix of Yahoo! Sports:

Kemba Walker will replace Kristaps Porzingis in the All-Star game, per NBA

Unless there is another injury, none hopefully, it looks like Simmons will have to wait at least another year to get his shot at the All-Star Game.
