Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid says he wants to be “the best Sixer ever” when it's all said and done.
Embiid admits for that to happen, he needs to lead the Sixers to a championship.

Embiid and the Sixers have a good chance at winning the title this season. Philly has a lethal starting lineup of Ben Simmons, J.J. Redick, Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris and Embiid. All five starters are averaging over 17.0 points per game on the season.
Embiid is one of the best players in the NBA. The two-time All-Star is averaging 27.5 points, 13.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest while shooting 48.1 percent from the field, 29.0 percent from beyond the arc and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line.
Embiid, 25, has 53 double-doubles and one triple-double on the season. For the Sixers to go on a deep postseason run this year, the team will need Embiid to be a monster.
Statistically, Embiid will finish in the top ranks in the Sixers organization as long as he stays healthy. Stats, though, aren't everything for Joel, who has championship aspirations.
The last time Philly went to the NBA Finals was back in 2001, when Allen Iverson led the Sixers against Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal and the Los Angeles Lakers.
