What a game. The Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers showed NBA fans why they have two of the best young cores in the league with their performance on Thursday night. After Lakers rising star forward Brandon Ingram nailed the game-winning three-pointer with 0.8 seconds left in regulation to give the Lakers a 107-104 win, it was clear that this game was going to be a tough pill to swallow for Philly at Wells Fargo Center.

In a video posted to Bleacher Report's official Twitter page shortly after the game, Sixers star center Joel Embiid had an encounter in the tunnel with Big Baller Brand founder and CEO LaVar Ball. However, despite the history between the two on social media, the exchange was quite friendly.

Embiid, who was an absolute monster on the night with a game-high 33 points, seven rebounds, six assists and a whopping five blocked shots, shared a moment with the father of Lakers rising star point guard Lonzo Ball.

“Embiid! Come on boy! Bring me some noise! Don't be scared, I got your ass now,” LaVar said with a big smile. “I'm just playing with you, good job.”

Lonzo, who had a solid game as well and made a fantastic pass to Ingram on the Lakers' final offensive possession, finished with 10 points on 5-of-11 shooting, eight assists, eight rebounds, four blocked shots and three steals. Sixers rising star rookie Ben Simmons, who had his third triple-double of the season, had 12 points, a game-high 15 assists, 13 boards and one blocked shot.
