Philadelphia 76ers small forward Tobias Harris says the Sixers are “for sure” at the top of the Eastern Conference.

The Sixers lost Jimmy Butler and JJ Redick in free agency, but rebounded nicely by signing All-Star big man Al Horford and acquiring combo guard Josh Richardson from the Miami Heat.

Philly lost to the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the 2019 playoffs in seven games. Now that Kawhi Leonard is in the Western Conference, many believe the Sixers are the team to beat in the East.

“We’re for sure at the top of the East,” Harris said, via Ian Begley of SNY. “With that being said, it’s the NBA. It’s hard to win games in the NBA so we know it’s going to take a lot chemistry & it’s going to take work.”

The Sixers signed Tobias Harris to the richest contract in franchise history this summer. Philly gave Harris a five-year, $180 million deal. With Jimmy Butler gone, Harris is going to have the ball in his hands a lot more in 2019-20, something the swingman is looking forward to.

The Milwaukee Bucks, Sixers and Brooklyn Nets are the three best teams in the East.

Philly has a lethal Big 4 of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Al Horford and Tobias Harris. It's going to be fun to watch the Sixers in 2019-20.
