Carmelo Anthony has caught a lot of heat, particularly from social media folks, for the current state of his basketball career. Not a few people would point to Anthony’s inability to fit in within a system and his assumed disinterest in doing just that are to blame for his downfall, but players like Wilson Chandler do seem to have a completely different opinion.
It’s not the first time that we’ve heard players blaming the media for portraying some of them in a bad light or at least for helping feed a narrative that’s clearly not in favor of their images, but it’s also understandable why Chandler is standing by Anthony’s side in this matter. For one, the media is the easiest to target – just like coaches in the NBA when their teams are struggling.
In any case, Wilson Chandler has already made public where he stands on this ongoing drama in the NBA, involving a 10-time All-Star and a team that sees no use for him anymore. Anthony and the Rockets earlier split ways, though he will still be on the team’s roster.
