Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been on a tear this offseason — yes, you read that right. The Sixers star isn't letting the NBA's hibernation stop him from doing what he does on the court. All summer long, Embiid has filled social media with numerous clips of him dominating fans in pickup games with much gusto.

With the path of destruction that Embiid has created among the line of fans, one has to stand up and give the Cameroonian mammoth a dose of his own medicine, right? Well, look no further than the NBA's Basketball Without Borders camp in Africa.

In the video below, Embiid can be seen blocking the young fan twice — first on a drive to the basket followed by an effortless rejection of his jump shot. But just like any underdog movie, the protagonist rises up in the end after a series of beatdowns.

Will that finally humble Embiid? It's doubtful. The Sixers center can just say that he was handicapped by the backpack he's wearing.

All jokes aside, though, Embiid is simply a fun-loving monster. But when training camp hits, expect him to go mercilessly on himself as he works to get better. He has to, especially after proclaiming some time ago about his individual goal for next season which is winning the MVP — not the social media MVP, but the actual plum that James Harden currently holds.
