San Antonio Spurs All-Star shooting guard DeMar DeRozan will get his USC jersey retired on Thursday.

DeRozan played one season at USC and averaged 13.5 points per game before being selected by the Toronto Raptors with the ninth overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft.

DeRozan is in his second season with the Spurs. The high-flyer is currently out with back spasms.

In 52 games this season for the Spurs, DeRozan is averaging 23.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.2 assists. The four-time All-Star is shooting 53.4 percent from the field, 27.6 percent from beyond the arc and 84.4 percent from the free-throw line.

DeRozan is one of the best NBA players to come out of USC. Other notable players from USC are Nikola Vučević, O.J. Mayo, Taj Gibson, Nick Young and Kevin Porter Jr.

DeMar has career NBA averages of 20.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists.
