The San Antonio Spurs got an impressive 121-114 win against the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks.

The Spurs were able to defend Bucks' All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, especially in the final minutes of the game, and head coach Gregg Popovich was pleased with his team's defensive efforts.

He had another remarkable post-game quote to describe his satisfaction as well.

Giannis was still able to get his usual numbers, finishing with 27 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists. He was also very efficient, shooting 10-18 from the field. However, he was a non-factor in the final minutes of the game, when the Bucks needed him the most.

San Antonio double and triple-teamed him whenever he's able to get to the painted area, and knowing that he's not a good 3-point shooter, the Spurs were comfortable with Rudy Gay and DeMar DeRozan doing single coverage on him in the perimeter.

Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe were the main reasons why the Bucks had a decent chance to win the game, but even their shots weren't falling in the end.

Bledsoe scored 21 points to go along with his six assists, while Middleton added 15 points, eight rebounds, and four dimes.

The trio of Giannis, Eric, and Khris combined to shoot 4-12 from behind the arc.

Despite their own struggles, the Spurs continue to be one of the most dangerous teams in the league. Under the leadership of Popovich, no one can really count them out, especially during the playoffs.
