One of the greatest San Antonio Spurs of all time, Tony Parker could be moving onto a new team if he isn't offered a new contract by the team he has spent 17 years with.

Parker talked with News4SanAntonio and was asked about leaving the Spurs, and Parker said although he wants to be back with the team, he knows it's a business and it wouldn't be a big deal if he signed with a new team this offseason.

“It is not yet sure that I'll stay with the Spurs. I am open to all proposals, I would like to have my entire career in San Antonio.”

“The sport is a business and we will have to make choices. I had 17 years with the Spurs, I would always be nostalgic but this is not the end of the world if I change my club. I figure two to three years more, if I go somewhere else, I'm 50-50. I do not see myself outside basketball yet I want to stay three more years to do the 20 seasons.”

Last year Parker had his worst year as a pro and lost his starting spot to Dejounte Murray midway through the season.

He played 55 games averaging 19.5 minutes, 7.7 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game. The last five years his numbers have seemed to decrease every year, but last year saw the biggest drop-off. In his career, Parker has averaged 15.8 points, 5.7 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.

When Parker does decide to hang it up, he will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but for now, it seems like Parker wants to hold off on that for a few years.
