Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown has established himself as arguably the best player at his position over the last several seasons.
However, he has now entered his 30s on Tuesday where things could shift physically for him as his body takes on more wear and tear. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Brown has voiced no concern about his level of play being impact by turning 30-years-old.
The beyond consistent production that he has brought to the table annually over the last several seasons has provided him with no concern that will tally off at this point in his career. Despite missing the last two regular-season games due to injury, Brown was able to record 101 catches for a league-best 1,533 receiving yard. This included six games with at least 10 catches and 100 receiving yards, which was the second-most in a single season in league history.
This helped him become the first player in NFL history with five consecutive 100-catch seasons. While his 582 receptions over that time frame surpassed Hall of Famer Marvin Harrison (563 from 1999-2003) for the most catches by a player over any five- year span in NFL history. Brown has been without a doubt the most productive wide receiver in the league over that span, which has further cements the confidence in his ability on the field.
All of this should make way for him to put together another highly productive campaign that should see him climb further up the all-time lists for both receptions and receiving yards. He has been on a steady pace that could see him one day possibly push Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for some of his illustrious NFL records.
