The Pittsburgh Steelers had to deal with some adversity after this past weekend's game with the Tennessee Titans was moved due to the Titans' COVID-19 outbreak.

However, the earlier-than-anticipated bye week has given wide receiver Diontae Johnson more time to recover, and he should be cleared to play in this weekend's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles (via Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk):

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said at a Tuesday press conference that wide receiver Diontae Johnson has cleared the concussion protocol.

Johnson’s set for full participation in practice as a result of that development. Johnson had 14 catches for 149 yards and a touchdown in the first two weeks of the season, but didn’t have a catch before getting hurt in Week Three.

Johnson has been a popular pick to be a breakout candidate for the Steelers.

The second-year man out of Toledo had 59 catches for 680 yards and five touchdowns last season, and opened the 2020 campaign with 14 catches for 149 yards and a touchdown through the first two games.

Johnson started in Week 3 against the Houston Texans, but he took a hit to the helmet after an end-around run early and the game, and was taken to the locker room.

The Steelers and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be glad to have Johnson back in the fold this week.

Pittsburgh has won each of its first three games, boasting a balanced offense and one of the stingiest defenses in the league. But the AFC North is getting crowded at the top, and the Steelers will hope to keep the train rolling against the Eagles.
