The Pittsburgh Steelers may be in trouble this weekend against the New Orleans Saints if wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a severe injury during Thursday's practice.

The Saints are arguably the league's best team and if the Steelers have any hopes of beating New Orleans they'll definitely need JuJu out on the field. The second-year receiver leads the team in receiving yards and has outperformed teammate Antonio Brown for most of the season. Brown is having a fantastic year as usual, but Smith-Schuster has been everything the Steelers could have hoped for in a number two receiver.

Smith-Schuster has a great personality and goes out each week with a great competitive edge. The former USC standout has 1,274 yards on the season on 95 receptions to go along with six touchdowns.

If JuJu can't string some practices together in time for Sunday's game there is a possibility he could miss his first game of the season. Antonio Brown and tight end Vance McDonald would likely have to fill in and take over some targets. The two receivers will also need to provide Ben Roethlisberger with some help if they want to keep up with the Saints' high-powered offense.

Smith-Schuster has been on the field in every game this season and has made a huge impact for the Steelers offense throughout the 2018 season. Brown is still Big Ben's main target, but JuJu has taken a lot of attention away from AB to boost the offense this season.
