Pittsburgh Steelers star defender TJ Watt took home the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year award on Thursday night. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin had an inspiring reaction to Watt taking home the honors, via his Twitter account.

Tomlin finished up his message by noting that Defensive Player of the Year “looks good” on Watt. It sure does, as the Steelers star very nearly broke the NFL's single-season sack record, tying the mark set by former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan.

Not only that, but Watt also compiled the highest sack rate of the Next Gen Stats era and the second-highest pressure rate, via NFL.com. The Defensive Player of the Year award does look pretty good on him, as Tomlin said.

Plus, for all of Watt's hard work, there's reason to believe that the Steelers star could be even better moving forward. As he himself noted, he's about to enter his prime.

Just like Mike Tomlin said, the Defensive Player of the Year award looks good on TJ Watt. There's a good chance it might not be the only time the award looks good on the Steelers star.
