With the 2022 NFL Draft just over a week away, the Pittsburgh Steelers are still picking up free agents. Most recently, the team picked up Miles Boykin to replenish their offense ahead of the 2022-2023 NFL season.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo tweeted the news Tuesday afternoon.

Boykin was released from the Ravens on April 18, and didn't sit on the free agency market for long. The Steelers picked him up just a day later.

The 25-year-old spent the first three years of his career with the Ravens. Baltimore drafted him in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but he hasn't played much as of recent. In fact, Boykin only played in eight games this past season, picking up one reception for six yards.

Despite his unproductive season and a hamstring injury in September of 2021, there is a lot of potential surrounding Boykin. He recorded 33 receptions for 470 yards and seven touchdowns in his first 40 games in the NFL. And, to be fair, his former quarterback Lamar Jackson isn't exactly the most dominant passer in the league.

Boykin will work under the leadership of Steelers quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. That is if Pittsburgh sticks with the former backup to Ben Roethlisberger. There's always a chance that the Steelers take advantage of their 20th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and pick up a promising quarterback.
