Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns are up 2-0 against the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals, but Arizona native and Washington Football Team quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick wants them to lose one game.

It's not that Fitzpatrick is hating on the Suns. In fact, it's the complete opposite since he just wants to get to watch CP3 and Co. play in the Finals before they lift the Larry O'Brien trophy.

The 38-year-old veteran QB confessed his love for the Suns on the Washington Football Talk podcast, adding that he and his 12-year-old son is “riding the wave right now” as Phoenix tries to win its first NBA title.

“Born and raised in Arizona, the Barkley years were great, the Nash era was awesome. I tell my boys we've lived in nine different places so they can pick and choose whatever team they want that's hot, so my 12-year-old has been a fan of the Suns for about three weeks. but we're riding the wave right now” Fitzpatrick said, per NBC Sports Washington.

“I want Suns in five because I want to go to a game. So Suns in four or five.”

Ryan Fitzpatrick is currently playing in the American Century Championship Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe, which ends on July 11, Sunday. With that said, it is completely understandable why he wants the Suns-Bucks NBA Finals series to extend for a bit.

Chris Paul and the Suns play Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks on Sunday for Game 3, while Game 4 is set three days later on Wednesday, July 14. However, both contests will be staged in Milwaukee before the series shifts again to Phoenix if needed.

Considering that Fitzpatrick will probably want to watch the game in Phoenix, it's not surprising why he wants it to be “Suns in .”
