The Phoenix Suns don't know yet which team they”ll be facing in the first round of the playoffs; however, Deandre Ayton couldn't care less. He just has one message to road fans who are hoping to talk smack to them when their team play the Arizona franchise.

During Friday's practice, Ayton shared that if the opposing fanbase trash talks them, the Suns will respond in a more frustrating way for them: by smacking their favorite team.

“When you talk smack, we smack your team,” Ayton said of the road fans, per Duane Rankin of AZ Central.

The Suns finished the year as the best team in the NBA record-wise, so Deandre Ayton has every reason to be confident. They are also one of the championship favorites, and it plays in their favor that they have homecourt advantage throughout.

Ayton saying that they are going to destroy opponents if fans talked smack at them isn't just lip service for Suns fans as well. With Devin Booker and Chris Paul leading the way in scoring, as well as Mikal Bridges anchoring the defense, they are more than capable of dominating on both ends of the floor.

The New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Clippers are playing each other on Friday to determine who will get the eighth seed in the West and face the Suns in the first round. Whoever comes out on top of that game, though, they better warn their fans not to talk too much and just cheer for their team instead.
