The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will battle in the Super Bowl on Feb. 2, and you know what that means: it's time for some prop betting.

There are hundreds of options to choose from, but some are obviously safer bets than others.

Here are a few Super Bowl prop bets that might tickle your fancy:

What will happen first: 49ers score (+110); 49ers punt (-130)

The best thing about Super Bowl prop bets is that there generally isn't much thinking involved.

The 49ers are not exactly offensive juggernauts, but they did drop 37 points on the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game, and the Chiefs aren't a great defensive ballclub, either.

So, there does seem to be a distinct possibility that San Francisco will put some points on the board in its first drive…or maybe you think Jimmy Garoppolo will turn into a pumpkin and thrown an interception.

The choice is yours, but there is nothing like stressing over the first possession of a game when you aren't even a fan of either of the teams involved.

Points by both teams in the highest-scoring quarter: Over 21 (+120); Under 21 (-140)

This is certainly an interesting one, especially considering that Kansas City is known for explosive quarters.

This is the same Chiefs team that scored 28 points in the second quarter of their Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans, and heck: even the 49ers dropped 20 in the second period of their NFC Championship Game victory.

Of course, the Niners are quite a bit better defensively than the Texans, so the Chiefs will certainly have a more difficult time racking up points this time around, and on the other side of the coin, I'm not sure you can count on San Francisco to have another big-time offensive quarter.

But the opportunity is there for either side of this prop bet.

Total quarterback sacks by both teams: Over 4.5 (-130); Under 4.5 (+110)

Both of these teams know how to get to the quarterback, as the 49ers totaled 48 sacks on the season and the Chiefs finished with 45.

So, there is a good chance we could see some ample pressure applied throughout this matchup.

It should be noted that both clubs have pretty stout offensive lines, so that will certainly mitigate the amount of times defenders can get into the backfield, but with pass rushers like Chris Jones, Nick Bosa, Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner ready to go, four-and-a-half seems like a somewhat low number.
