The Houston Texans are coming off a lackluster debut to their 2017 NFL season, having been routed at home by the Jacksonville Jaguars, 27-9, on Sunday.

Although the Texans will go on the road for Week 2, they have a rather favorable matchup ahead against the Cincinnati Bengals, who also lost at home in Week 1 in humiliating fashion to the Baltimore Ravens, 20-0.

Not only will they have the benefit of going up against a struggling and apparently solar-powered Andy Dalton – the Bengals QB is just 5-11 in 16-career NFL primetime games – they're also about to finally don their “Color Rush” uniforms on the field for the very first time:

Don't be fooled by the timestamp on the Twitter post above; the Texans had to wait one full year for them to wear their “Color Rush” uniforms since their gear looked very similar to those worn by the New England Patriots. Houston had the misfortune of facing New England in Week 3 of the previous season for their lone Thursday night game on the schedule, and the Patriots had the priority to flaunt their own “Color Rush” unis because the game was held in Foxborough.

In the wake of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey and the upset by the Jaguars, Texans fans are still left searching for some form of optimism on the gridiron. Their team finally gets to rock these sweet-looking alternates, and that's a pretty good start. Capping Week 2 off with huge road victory over the Bengals will bring even more positive vibes to the good folks over in H-Town.
