The Houston Texans are apparently still looking for cornerback help, as the team will bring in veteran corner Orlando Scandrick for a visit, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

The meeting is taking place today, so a deal could come together quickly if there's mutual interest. The Texans have made upgrading the secondary a priority, and they just traded a sixth-round pick for cornerback Keion Crossen on Saturday.

They also have veterans Johnathan Joseph, Aaron Colvin, and Bradley Roby as well as rookies Lonnie Johnson Xavier Crawford. Houston's secondary was a liability at times the past two seasons, so it makes sense why they're leaving no stone unturned right before the start of the season.

Scandrick was in camp with the Eagles, but failed to make their 53-man roster. Scandrick is 32 now, and he spent the first ten years of his career with the Cowboys.

He had a few really strong seasons with Dallas, but appears to be well over the hill now. He signed a two-year deal with the Redskins last offseason, but failed to even make it out of training camp.

He then latched on with the Chiefs, and spent all of last season with them. He made 15 appearances and seven starts with Kansas City which isn't necessarily something he'd want to brag about, considering how atrocious the Chiefs' pass-defense was last year.

Scandrick was really banged up his last few years with the Cowboys, losing the entire 2015 season to a torn ACL and missing a handful of games each of the next two years.

It doesn't look like he has much left in the tank at this point.
