Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller is expected to miss several weeks with a hamstring injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Fuller suffered the injury during his team's loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. He logged one catch for six yards before exiting.

On the season overall, Fuller has tallied 34 catches for 450 yards and three touchdowns.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Notre Dame, was originally selected by the Texans in the first round (21st pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He played in 14 games during his rookie campaign, catching 47 passes for 635 yards and a couple of scores.

Since then, however, injuries have told the story of Fuller's career.

A broken collarbone limited Fuller to just 10 games in 2017, as he finished with 28 receptions for 423 yards while reaching the end zone seven times. Then, the following year, a torn ACL prematurely ended Fuller's season. In seven games, he snared 32 balls for 503 yards and four touchdowns.

When healthy, Fuller is an integral part of Houston's offense, but the Texans have been unable to rely on him because of his persistent injury issues.

Luckily for Houston, it made a move to acquire fellow wideout Kenny Stills from the Miami Dolphins just before the regular season started, so now, Deshaun Watson has another option besides DeAndre Hopkins (and second-year wideout Keke Coutee, who has also had his fair share of difficulties staying healthy) in the aerial attack.

The Texans are 4-3 and will take on the Oakland Raiders next Sunday.
