In the latest dev diary updates by TeamFight Tactics (TFT)'s game design lead Mort, Riot revealed exciting developments for TFT.

TFT REGISTERS NEW PEAK WITH 10 MILLION PLAYERS

Before we go forward with the exciting new features that TFT Reckoning update will bring, it's worth celebrating a high note. Towards the end of the dev update, Mort revealed that each new update of the game brings back over ten million players per day. Imagine everyone living in the entire state of New York logging in and playing TFT every day. That's a really huge number.

This is the behavior that the devs observed for TFT Fates, the most recent release for the game. They hope that with TFT Recoking coming this April 28th, even more players will come play the game and enjoy the new content they're bringing into TFT.

RECKONING RELEASE DATE: APRIL 28TH, ALL THE NEW FEATURES PREVIEW

The upcoming Reckoning update will bring TFT‘s first new game mode through a new system called Labs. Labs will allow players to play gimmicky versions of the game's formula. This changes the experience of the game. Hence, it will give the devs more insight on which aspects of the game do fans like best. They say that the game modes through Labs will be around for a short while. Those that are popular may stick around permanently. The first new game mode is called Hyper Roll, a quicker game mode that cuts down the average playtime of one game into just fifteen minutes.

Meanwhile, the fight between good and evil will be the thematic of Reckoning. It will see the return of Draven, an interesting new Teemo character that takes away HP instead of gold when recruited, and an update on how Draconic traits work. More details will come between now and the release date of Reckoning. As already mentioned above, Reckoning will launch on April 28th, so buckle up until then.
