Ever since Kevin Feige took on the role of Creative Director at Marvel Studios, the MCU has been giving us the cinematic adventure of a lifetime. Now thanks to Disney+, the MCU is also taking over our small screens. (Spoilers for the shows if you haven't watched all of them!)

For more than a decade now, The Marvel Cinematic Universe films gave us the experience of what it's like to see our favorite costumed superheroes together in live-action. I bet no one could ever forget that scene in Marvel's The Avengers where the six heroes first stood in a circle looking so darn epic. Before that, we comic book nerds could only dream of seeing it on the big screen.

Don't get me wrong, I know there's been a ton of superhero movies that came out way before Robert Downey Jr. Took up the mantle of Iron Man in 2008. But did any of them actually get it right the way the MCU did?

Maybe the first few Spider-Man films, as well as the early X-men movies, were great but anything after that was just completely bonkers. (we're looking at you Spider-Man 3 and X-Men Origins: Wolverine)

Now after years of marvelous fun, no pun intended, the MCU has arrived on our small screens. Which was just right on time since the pandemic took a major hit on the box-office industry.

But which MCU show really came out on top?

To be fair, I truly adored each of them being the huge comic book fan that I am. And If you're a real MCU fan, you'll absolutely consume anything that Marvel Studios releases.

I'm also not saying that some of these shows were terrible. But, if I was going to rank them from best worst, this would be the breakdown:

The Falcon and The Winter SoldierLet's be real. TFATWS could have ended in three episodes. It felt a bit slow and at some point, parts of this MCU show just didn't make sense. Like the whole fixing the boat scene? Sure it showed how the two frenemies slowly started to bond over something, but the scene was just too boring. Couldn't they have bonded over something else like a game of pool or arm-wrestling?

Petty nitpicks aside, I did love how the series introduced us to characters like U.S. Agent and Battlestar. It also showed us what Agent 13 a.k.a. Sharon Carter was doing after Civil War. The ending was sort of anticlimactic. Although the fight scenes were amazing as always and finally having Sam Wilson take up the role of Captain America was just too wholesome and epic. The best part of the series? Dancing Zemo. Yeah, I said it.

  1. WandaVision

This MCU show was great. It was fun, heart-wrenching, and full of mysteries. It really made you feel for Wanda and the things that she went through after the events of Avengers: Infinity War.

Also, the way they handled the theme of the show as it progressed was just breathtaking. They were able to show how sitcoms progressed throughout the years all the while showing what was truly going on inside Wanda's head.

The reveals were great too. Who knew we would ever see Vision fight another Vision? The only real bummer of the series was finding out that quicksilver wasn't really quicksilver. Really Disney+? A “Bohner” joke? Lame.

1.) Loki

Ah yes. Glorious frickin purpose. This was just everything we wanted from an MCU series. Honestly. Great CGI, loveable new characters, an awesome plot that builds up the next phase for the MCU… What more could you possibly ask for?

Every episode was just a treat for everyone who watched it. That huge reveal at the end where they finally revealed the next big bad for the MCU gave us chills.

Tom Hiddleston has always owned this role and I thank the gods that he's willing to play Loki forever given the chance.

I'm pretty sure everyone is truly happy that this show is getting a new season. I know I am. Hopefully, the upcoming shows from Disney+ and Marvel Studios will be just as good as these three.

So there you go, that's my ranking for the best MCU shows so far. I hope you enjoyed reading this and if you disagree with my list then take it up to the TVA as I'm sure they'll give you a variant of me that actually agrees with your list.
