TNT's “The Match” is just a few days away, and this year, the teams consist of only NFL quarterbacks. Young stars Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will take on seasoned veterans Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady in the Las Vegas event.

Typically, the friendly competition draws lots of smack talk from both teams, and this year is no different. Brady tweeted a video of him (allegedly) getting a hole in one, but Allen was quick to doubt him. Then, Brady went back at him, and it turned into a whole thing.

Don't worry, Rodgers isn't missing out on the pre-competition festivities. He took a hilarious dig at Mahomes while explaining why the “old guys” talk better smack than their The Match competition.

“When we started (in the NFL), definitely when (Brady) started and when I started playing, there was actual, real trash talk,” Rodgers said, quotes courtesy of ESPN. “Like, guys trash-talked each other and there was a lot of good s— talk…And now, it's more buddy, buddy, you know…it's not the same. So, when you talk about Kermit the Frog and Josh (Allen) trying to s— talk me and Tom, a couple old school, grizzled vets. Come on.”

So Rodgers not only doubted his opponents' abilities to talk smack, but he even made fun of Mahomes' well-known, coarse voice in the process. The way things are going already, viewers can expect a lot of trash talk during The Match on June 1.
