Chris Paul had another big game for the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, leading his team to an impressive 104-100 victory against the Houston Rockets. The All-Star point guard sank a couple of key 3-pointers late in the game, which ultimately led to OKC coming away with a crucial Game 6 victory.

In his postgame interview, Paul was asked why he was once again able to thrive in the clutch, to which he responded in true Chris Paul manner:

“Some people are built for it,” the Thunder vet said, via Clay Horning of The Norman Transcript).

Clearly, Paul was built for it.

The 35-year-old finished the contest with a team-high 28 points on 10-of-20 shooting to go with seven rebounds, three assists, three steals and zero turnovers in 40 minutes of play. Talk about efficiency.

The narrative of this series cannot be set aside, especially considering how it pretty much centers around Paul himself. Last summer, the Rockets traded him to the Thunder in exchange for Russell Westbrook.

Many considered this to be a step back for Paul's career, with him joining a team that was supposed to be on rebuild mode. As a matter of fact, the general belief was that Paul was going to be traded away by the Thunder shortly after acquiring him.

We all know how that turned out, which is a testament to Paul and his leadership. The 10-time All-Star is indeed built differently, and his amazing season with OKC is further proof of his greatness.

The deciding Game 7 of this series is scheduled for Wednesday, and we fully expect Paul to be at his best in that one yet again.
