With the 20 rebounds that Russell Westbrook pulled in against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, it locked up another season where he averaged a triple-double for the entire season.

Even locking up the amazing feat for the second year in a row, Westbrook has received a ton of criticism from people who say he isn't a good teammate and he just likes to pad his stats. Westbrook clapped back to his critics on Wednesday night though.

“A lot of people make jokes about whatever, stat-padding or going to get rebounds,” Westbrook told Royce Young of ESPN. “If people could get 20 rebounds every night, they would. If people could get 15 rebounds, they would. People that's talking or saying whatever they need to say, they should try doing it and see how hard it is.”

“Since everybody wants to be talking, I'm tired of hearing the same old rebound this, stealing rebounds, all this s—. I take pride in what I do. I come out and play, and I get the ball faster than someone else gets to it. That's what it is. If you don't want it, I'm gonna get it. Simple as that.”

He isn't the only who is sick of the criticism though. Dwyane Wade took to Twitter on Thursday to stand up for the former league MVP.

For Westbrook, he does rebound a lot more than other point guards, but he does it to try and ignite the fast break. If he can get the ball and bring it up the court quickly, that can give the Thunder a nice boost and help lead his team to success.
