With their league-leading 11-2 record to show, the Boston Celtics are continuing to silence their doubters. Even with Gordon Hayward suffering a gruesome injury in their first game, they have managed to win 11 straight games, and are not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.

While their offense has been a big reason for their early success, they are also doing well on the other end, particularly with their pick-and-roll defense. Teams have been dealt nightmares by the Celtics' strategy, until the Oklahoma City Thunder found a way to beat it during their first meeting of the season.

In a video made by Cleaning The Glass, the Celtics' subtle yet very effective defensive set is placed under the spotlight followed by the counter devised by Billy Donovan's Thunder squad. As seen in the video, the simple adjustment of keeping the corners occupied did the trick, giving more space for Russell Westbrook to operate for the quick attack.

The Thunder may have had their way on that particular play, but it takes more than that to topple a team as well-coached as the Celtics. The visitors ultimately won, 101-94, to start their road trip on a high note.
