Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry missed all of the preseason due to a calf injury, but he says he is just fine heading into his team's Week 1 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

“I'm feeling well,” Henry said on NFL Network's Good Morning Football on Monday. “Kind of sad I missed camp; I love it, and I love my teammates and practicing, but I'm back to feeling good and I've been able to practice these last couple weeks. I'm excited. It's game week, so I'm ready to go.”

Henry is probably the most crucial piece of the Titans' offense, as he is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he rushed for 1,059 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging 4.9 yards per carry, so his health is paramount.

Of course, much of Henry's production last year came during the final quarter of the season with an increased workload, so many are questioning just how good the 25-year-old will be throughout the entirety of 2019, but Henry is confident in his ability to succeed:

“That's who I am,” Henry said. “Everybody has adversity, and I think that was mine during the season. Mine was kind of long, but I was glad to finish off on the right note, and I'm just excited to get out there and pick up where I left off and continue to help this team, this organization.”
