The Tennessee Titans went through a plethora of kickers during the 2019 season and it appears they still might not be comfortable with their current situation. According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Titans worked out veteran kicker Stephen Gostkowski.

Throughout last season, Tennessee had Ryan Succop, Cairo Santos, Greg Joseph, and Cody Parkey make kicks for the team. Altogether, all of their kickers would make just eight of their 18 field-goal attempts a season ago. The Titans' eight field goals as a team were the lowest mark in the NFL in 2019.

Of the names listed above, Joseph is the only kicker that remains on the current roster. While Joseph didn't attempt any field goals last season, he made all nine of his extra-point tries for the Titans.

As for Gostkowski, he remains in free agency after being released by the New England Patriots back in March. Gostkowski was the starting placekicker for the Patriots from 2006-2019 after replacing the legendary Adam Vinatieri. Though, early in the 2019 season, Gostkowski would suffer a hip injury that required season-ending surgery.

In his 14 seasons with the Patriots, Gostkowski would convert on 82 percent or more his field-goal attempts in 12 of them. He was also a four-time Pro Bowler and a two-time All-Pro amid his time in Foxborough. Above all, he is the Patriots' all-time scoring leader with 1,775 total points scored in his career.

The Titans could use some consistency at kicker after a dismal season at the position in 2019. And as Yates points out, Gostkowski already owns a house in Tennessee. All things considered, a pairing of Gostkowski and the Titans seems ideal.
