Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones is currently dealing with a nagging hamstring injury which has forced him to miss three games throughout the season. While he did feature in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, Jones was limited in practice on Friday. Now, the team has placed him on the Injured Reserve, which is set to keep him out for at least three contests. Via Ian Rapoport:

This is definitely not ideal for the Titans considering Jones is one of their best players out wide. He had four catches for 35 yards last week as Tennessee won their fifth-straight game. Although Jones doesn't have a touchdown in 2021, he leads the WR corps with 16 yards per catch.

This is just the next unfortunate injury blow for Mike Vrabel's squad after Derrick Henry went on the shelf with a serious foot injury. However, the Titans went out and signed Adrian Peterson to pick up the slack until their star running back is healthy enough to suit up again.

AJ Brown will be relied upon to step up heavily in place of Jones. The 24-year-old has three TDs this season to go along with 40 receptions for 551 yards. Luckily, their opponent on Sunday, the New Orleans Saints, has the 27th worst defense against the pass therefore Brown and Co. will be looking to have a field day and collect a sixth consecutive victory.
