The Tennessee Titans unexpectedly lost to the division rival Houston Texans 22-13 Sunday. Tennessee entered the game having won six straight games and sitting atop the AFC at 8-2. The win streak included games against strong opponents like the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills, the Los Angeles Rams and the New Orleans Saints.

Following the loss, head coach Mike Vrabel detailed the problems Sunday, pointing directly to one side of the football as the key reason for Sunday's upset, as NBC Sports' Josh Alper notes.

“I think we’ve seen Ryan perform at a high level,” Vrabel said. “Offensive football at any level takes 11 guys. There was a lot of good football out there, unfortunately we turned the football over too many times. Our defense battled. Our offense was its own worst enemy.”

Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw four interceptions Sunday vs the Houston Texans defense. Entering the game Sunday, Tannehill had thrown four interceptions for the entire season.

Vrabel went on to say that he is not overly concerned with Tannehill being able to turn the page and get back to playing smart football.

It will not get any easier for Tannehill. Next week, the Titans travel to New England to face arguably the hottest team in the NFL, the Patriots. New England's defense is the key reason their season has turned around. So, it'll be interesting to see if Tannehill can put this tough loss behind him and get back to performing at a high level.
